Charleston Bars and Restaurants

Fuel

211 Rutledge Ave, Charleston, SC 29403

Fuel Caribbean restaurant and bar is a very trendy and cool bar with a Caribbean-inspired menu that will get your mouth watering in no time. All of our Charleston Party Buses travelers just adore the jerk chicken sandwiches here, served with unbelievably tasty plantains, and we are also big fans of the tuna tacos and the sweet potato fries with tamarind chutney. The grilled jerk chicken sandwich is a superb choice for lunch, and so is the chorizo burger! Every single item on the menu is packed with spicy flavor to really please even the most jaded taste buds! There's a full bar here for all your drinking needs and televisions for all the big sporting events too.

Rutledge Cab Co.

1300 Rutledge Ave, Charleston, SC 29403

Rutledge Cab Company is not a cab company. Rather, it's a cool American style bar that is known for their delicious burgers as well as for their brunch. Watching the game in the bar area is always a blast here, very high energy environment and fun servers who keep the vibe going. Although they're perfect for brunch (try the waffles), we love them for later in the day. They have a pretty nice craft beer selection and we're in love with their burgers, fish tacos, and Reuben sandwiches! If you like curry, their vegan Korma curry is outstanding! If you can, same some room for their coconut cake. They don't have super late hours here, but pretty decent, until 11 on weeknights and 12 on Fri/Sat.

Tattooed Moose

1137 Morrison Dr, Charleston, SC 29403

Tattooed Moose is another one of our favorite bars for Charleston Party Buses customers to visit, especially since they have the most delicious sandwiches for you to dig into at lunch time. Though it's just a laid back and low key dive bar, they really deliver such mind blowing food here, especially the sandwiches, of course. Braised, roasted, smoked, and cured meats are available for sandwiches. you swooning at the amount of incredible flavor. In terms of the subs, the lucky number one has always been our go-to, but you cannot make a wrong choice here. They do offer outdoor seating in case you want to get out into the fresh air. Best nights to visit are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The Ordinary

544 King Street, Charleston, SC 29403

The Ordinary is anything but! This incredible restaurant is high class and indeed quite pricey, but well worth getting dolled up for and also worth the price. The seafood is the thing that they are perhaps best known for, with the oysters taking top spot in our hearts. The oyster sliders are truly something to be reckoned with and we also have to note the fact that they are served on coconut pineapple Hawaiian rolls. Wow. Just so good. The locally sourced shrimp gumbo is a real highlight on this menu. The coconut cream pie is our favorite dessert, and we hope you'll try it! Take advantage of the full bar and enjoy the fact that there are no TVs here. Ahh, so peaceful. They are open until 11 each night but closed Mondays.

Boone's Bar

345 King St, Charleston, SC 29401

And finally we wrap things up with Boone's Bar, a longtime favorite of Charleston Party Buses travelers in this area. They really have an excellent bourbon selection here, so if that's your poison, we think you'll be quite pleased. The namesake burger is always a great option to fill you up and we'd highly recommend the zucchini fries for your side. If you love to dance and you often lament the fact that not enough places accommodate that these days, you'll really appreciate the fact that they have dancing in the upstairs area! So get on up there and shake that bootay. If you're searching for the perfect bar to watch the game, you've also found it right here. Love it.
